Forestry Walk

A couple hiking along Cane Run

Join us for a Forestry Walk with Farm & Forest Institute Woodland Instructor, Rick Thomas.

We will be walking off-trail through varied terrain, moving in and around Cane Run.

Topics discussed along the way:

  1. Riparian buffer recovery areas
  2. Woodland stand improvement strategies
  3. Woody debris management to enhance bird and small mammal habitat
  4. Non-native invasive species management (year 1)
