You are invited to join us for our second annual Wendell Berry Lecture. This year’s lecturer is acclaimed writer Paul Kingsnorth. We will also be celebrating the release of Kingsnorth’s latest book, Against the Machine: On the Unmaking of Humanity.
An English writer and thinker living in the west of Ireland, Kingsnorth is the author of 10 books of fiction, non-fiction and poetry, including the novel The Wake, which was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize.
His newest book examines what humanity requires to thrive and is described as a “manual for dissidents in the technological age.”
Doors open at 5:30. Each ticket includes a copy of Against the Machine. Book signing to follow.
The Wendell Berry Lecture presented with the support of The Josephine Ardery Foundation and the Tall Grass Farm Foundation.
