DESCRIPTION:Each TUESDAY\, February 3 – March 3\n5:30p – 7:00p\n\nCost: $150\, with reduced fee for farmers and residents of Henry County\n\nThis Agrarian Voices Study explores how The Berry Center puts Wendell Berry’s writing to work to advocate for farmers\, land-conserving communities\, and healthy regional economies. The first 4 sessions are held in hybrid format with participants coming together in-person at The Berry Center and via Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Chef Ouita Michel and TBC Executive Director Mary Berry will discuss the history of the local food movement. Chef Ouita will be signing her cookbook\, Just a Few Miles South: Timeless Recipes from Our Favorite Places\, which has recipes speaking to the good food culture in Kentucky.\n\nTickets are REQUIRED. You may get them HERE.\n\nThe Agrarian Voices Lecture Series features speakers who are knowledgeable about agrarianism and The Berry Center’s work at the intersection of farming\, good land use\, history\, literature\, education\, rural community leadership and culture\, and the arts. The event is supported by The Josephine Ardery Foundation\, Tallgrass Farm Foundation\, Virginia Lee Harrod\, Tony Perry and Jeff Ricketts\, and Cindy and Scott Anderson.\n\n*Lecture will be recorded for later release.
